We are pleased to announce in our #3 course update that the 18th Hole is now available again to play. We are open all this week from 11am with last tee off time at 6.30pm.
The course remains wet and soft under foot in many areas especially around 13th and 14th Fairways, but we will be open all this week from 11am with last tee off time at 6.30pm.
Welcome to our #2 Course Update. We will be OPEN on Good Friday 15th April, at 11am, subject to weather conditions.
The course remains very wet and soft under foot in a number of places but hopefully playable.
There will be preferred lies on fairways due to the possibility of plugged balls and the soft ground in places and some greens are not 100%.
Holes 12 and 18 will not be available due to the greens not being under repair and ongoing ground works.
In order to play 18 holes players will be able to start and finish on holes 1 and 2.
We look forward to seeing both old and new customers from today and praying for dry conditions over easter holidays.
Welcome to the Sandfield Pitch and Putt #1 course update for 2022. It has been a long wet winter since we were forced to close early due to waterlogging in September. The course has remained heavily waterlogged right up to the middle of March making difficult to get anything done and that combined with the sad absence of Tom who we hoped would guide us through our first winter it has proved a very testing time. We are hoping to start some major drainage work on Lough Beg and the land drain that runs from Morgan’s Lough to the R261 that will hopefully take away the water when we get heavy spells of rain.
